Corrections
If a page here disagrees with the Gambling Control Act, a regulation or the regulator's register, the page is wrong and should be fixed. This is how an error is reported and what happens to it.
What counts as an error
- A section or regulation number that does not contain what the page says it contains.
- A figure, deadline or amount that differs from the source.
- A line in the register table that differs from the regulator's page as it stood on the snapshot date.
- A statement that has become out of date because the law or the register changed.
- Wording that reads as a recommendation of an operator. That is an error on this site too.
A difference between the register table and the regulator's live page is expected when the regulator has updated its list after the snapshot. It is still worth reporting, because it shows the snapshot needs renewing.
How to report one
Use the channel on the contact page. A report is easiest to act on when it gives:
- the address of the page;
- the sentence or table row in question;
- the source that shows it is wrong, with the section number or the web address.
No reply time is promised, and a report does not create any obligation to answer individually.
What happens next
The claim is compared with the primary source. If the page is wrong, the text is changed, the "last updated" date of the page moves, and a line is added to the log below saying what was changed. Corrections are not made silently, and the original mistake is described, not hidden.
If the source supports the page, nothing changes. Preferences of an operator about how it is described are not grounds for a change; the regulator's list is.

Limits
The checks described in the editorial policy are automated and no named reviewer signs the pages, so errors are possible. Where it matters, read the cited section yourself. Gambling is addictive, and no page here should be read as a reason to gamble; help is on the responsible gambling page.
